By accessing and using SmartEvent.in ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

SmartEvent.in provides an enterprise-grade event management platform including registration, ticketing, check-in, analytics, and related services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms vary by pricing plan:

  • Per-event pricing is due before event activation
  • Pay-per-attendee billing occurs monthly in arrears
  • Enterprise contracts follow custom payment schedules
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
  • Payment processing fees may apply based on payment method

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Transmit any harmful code or malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to spam or harass others

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SmartEvent.in and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our proprietary iFlow technology is protected by trade secret laws.

7. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to your event data and attendee information. We do not claim ownership of your data. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide the Service. You can export your data at any time.

8. Service Level Agreement

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our Service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. Enterprise customers receive enhanced SLA guarantees as specified in their contracts.

9. Limitation of Liability

SmartEvent.in shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Delhi, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
